Whether it be for training or safety, most dogs will be crated at some point in their lives. I always put beds and blankets in my dog’s crates to keep them comfortable, but nothing seemed to fit just right. Blankets would slide around and regular dog beds were always too thick and never the right size. We decided to look for a designated crate bed and found PetFusion!
PetFusion is a brand that focuses on pet products that seamlessly blend into your home! Their key products are Cat Scratchers, Pet Feeds, Dog Beds, Litter Boxes and Toys. They currently sell 6 different varieties of dog beds and blankets. We are reviewing their PuppyChoice Dog Crate Bed.
Affordability
The first thing that jumped out at me when I saw this product was the price!
We received the XXL (46″x29”), which fits perfectly in our custom made kennel and is priced at only $79.95! We had searched for crate beds in the past and found it difficult to find one that would fit snuggly in our kennel. The few we had found were very expensive, some being well over $300!

In short, we were very impressed with the cheaper price tag on these crate beds. But, what’s the point of paying less if the quality isn’t there? Keep reading to see what we think about the design and durability of this bed!
Design
The bed came in 3 pieces – the foam inserts, the waterproof liner, and the bed cover. It was very easy to put together, meaning it will be just as easy to take apart and clean. The foam is about 2 inches thick, which provides plenty of support for our dogs. We really like the bolster pillows to further add support and comfort and the nonskid bottom that keeps the bed in place.
Our dogs loved laying on the microsuede fabric and actually prefer laying on this flat foam rather than the fluffy bed that was previously in our kennel. Because of the bolster pillows, it can easily be a comfortable standalone bed outside of the crate.
Durability
We think this bed will easily hold up to our dogs! The microsuede cover is very easy to spot clean for small messes and dog hair. It’s very durable and should hold up just fine to sharp teeth and claws. If water (or puppy accidents) does happen to penetrate the water resistant outside cover, the waterproof cover should protect the inside foam! The bed is very easy to take apart and can be washed in your washing machine.
In Conclusion
If you’re in the market for a great crate bed, PetFusion should be at the top of your list! The number one thing I was looking for was fit, and this bed fits perfectly in our kennel. This, paired with the price and design of this bed can not be beat!
