About the Photographer
My name is Sam. I am a lawyer by day & avid adventurer, photographer, traveler, blogger, & dog mom by night. I love to spend all of my free time exploring Michigan & beyond with my family. My husband Garrett & myself are the proud dog parents of Dexter, a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog Mix, & Alfred, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
I fell in love with photography when I was in High School capturing the small moments with my younger brother (who is 11 years younger). I was able to take photos of those moments & remember them vividly because photography helps take a snapshot of the moment & captures the story. That is why I love photography & continued to pursue my passion throughout the years. I try to gear my photography towards capturing the moments, generally fun moments with my dogs in the outdoors or the natural surroundings. Overall I want photos to feel timeless & like you are in the moment.
