About the Photographer
Hi there! My name is Dan Amann and I’m from Spokane, Washington. I was born in the area and have always had a passion for the outdoors, being active and exploring. As a sophomore in high school I picked up my first DSLR camera and fell in love with photography seemingly overnight. I enjoyed it so much that every penny I earned went towards buying more and more gear. I even went on to get a degree from Gonzaga University in Journalism as I pursued photo-journalism and real world situational photography. After graduating, a bigger and better opportunity for a career emerged for me in mortgage lending, but photography never stopped being my hobby. Now my wife and I adventure, hike and camp and my two Mini Australian Shepherds, Lucy Lu and Izzy Mae, provide an endless opportunity to photography them, products we use for brand and companies we love, and the locations we discover along the way.
